The Slater City Council approved an ordinance setting the budget for the city in 2023.

City Administrator Gene Griffith explained that the city is operating on a $4.8 million budget for 2023.

Slater Mayor Stephen Allegri praised the city’s budget for its transparency.

The council approved the first and second readings to pass the ordinance.
