Robert Lee Kuecker, 80, of Concordia, MO, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Bethel United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Alan Gatewood officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.  Memorials are suggested to Bethel Cemetery and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born September 27, 1942, in Concordia, he was the son of the late Omar Kuecker and Lorna Meineka Kuecker.  Robert lived in Concordia for many years and was a 1960 graduate of Concordia High School.  On August 28, 1962, he married Janet Boring who survives of the home.  Bob farmed in the local area for 20 years and installed floor covering for over 40 years.  He was always willing to volunteer and serve the community and had a very giving heart.  He was a member of the Concordia Lion’s Club, Concordia Jaycees, Lafayette County Pork Producers, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, as well as various other farm organizations.  Bob served on the boards of West Central Electric and the Production Credit Association, was a special road district commissioner, served on the Lafayette County Extension Council, had been a 4-H Swine leader, as well as coaching Mighty Mites Baseball.  He was an active member of Bethel United Church of Christ where he had been a choir member as well as serving on the church council and cemetery board.  Bob and Janet retired to their lake home near Stover, where they lived for 10 years.  Bob loved to fish and was always willing to provide fish for fish fries.

In addition to his wife, Janet; he is survived by one son, Jeff Kuecker and his wife Lisa, of Concordia; one sister, Arleen Peters of Alma; one brother, Norman Kuecker of Blue Springs, a brother-in-law, Ronald Oetting of Mission, KS; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Geraldine Oetting.
