Damien Scott Owen, 15, of Alma, MO, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Blackburn.  Burial will follow at Blackburn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Alma First Responders or Santa Fe FFA Chapter.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born December 9, 2006, in Marshall, he was the son of Benjamin Scott Owen of Independence and Eden Day Pringle of Waverly.  Damien lived in Alma with his grandparents, Bill and Kim Owen, and was a sophomore at Santa Fe High School.  He was a member of the FFA chapter where he enjoyed trapshooting and was on the baseball team.  Damien was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Blackburn.

Survivors include his father, Ben Owen of Independence; his mother, Eden Pringle (Travis) of Waverly; paternal grandparents, Bill and Kim Owen of Alma; maternal grandmother, Tammy Vance (George) of Marshall; paternal great-grandmother, Kathy Eager (Charley) of Alma; maternal great-grandmother, Wendill Crum of Waverly; five siblings: Daci Pringle, Kali Pringle, Cash Pringle, Madison Judd and Westyn Judd; two uncles, Billy Owen (Alyisa) of Lee’s Summit and Adam Day of Springfield; an aunt, Briann (Ethan) White of Odessa; as well as great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.

Damien was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, William and Ruby Owen; paternal great-grandfather, Scott Duffey; and maternal great-grandfather, Donald Crum.
