Mary Helen Norman, 89, of Marshall Junction, MO, died Monday, December 12, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Buddy Pack Program or Marshall Senior Center Meals on Wheels.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born October 4, 1933, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Tuders and Helen Mae Alspaw Tuders.  On December 9, 1951, she married Ollie Vincent Norman who preceded her in death on December 12, 2002.  Mary lived in Saline County her entire life where she was a farm wife and homemaker.  In addition to working on the farm and raising the family, Mary had worked as a cook at Joe Pointer’s Café and Four Square Horse Market at Marshall Junction, as well as Pioneer Café in Marshall.  Mary enjoyed going to the YMCA and swimming with friends.  She was a member of Blackwater Church of Christ.  Mary will always be remembered as a strong, resilient, caring, loving wife and mother.

Survivors include seven children: Becky Dillon (Carroll) of Marshall, Joyce Harris (David) of St. Cloud, FL, La Sondra Marsch (Bob) of Sedalia, Vince Norman (Debbie) of Marshall Junction, Noel Norman (Patty) of rural Nelson, Payton Norman (Sheerie) of rural Marshall and Gala Norman of Marshall Junction; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Clayton Norman; one granddaughter, Jessica Marie Norman; one great-grandson, Tyler Richard Thomas; one brother, Charles Tuders; and two sisters, Loretta Johnson and Rosie Brown.
