A bridge deck replacement project on U.S. Route 24 in Chariton County, west of Route MM near Brunswick, is now complete and the roadway has been restored to normal two-way traffic. Crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, completed the project which began August 1, 2022.
During construction, temporary traffic signals were in place to guide motorists through the work zone. Crews removed the traffic signals Wednesday, December 14, and opened both lanes to traffic.
MoDOT asks drivers to always buckle up, keep your phone down, slow down and move over in work zones.
