Frances (Perry) Heying, 77, of rural Marshall, MO, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

At Frances’s request no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born July 29, 1945, in Hamburg, IA, Frances was the daughter of the late Darrell Clyde Perry and Wilma Arlene Freeze Perry. On December 5, 1992, she married C. Fred Heying who survives of the home. In earlier years, she was a cook at Trails End, Hen House and at various truck stops. Later on she was head cook at Marshall Senior Center and an aid at Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Marshall. Frances was a very special woman to many. She had a strong faith in God and she was great to talk to about many things.

Survivors include her husband and best friend, Fred; three daughters, Janet Wennihan (Greg) of Fairfax, MO, Vicki Toliver (Kirk) of Slater, MO and Amy Stringer (David) of Warrensburg, MO; five grandchildren, Seth, Jacob (Dixie), Tabatha, Brittney (Ben) and Hayden (Amanda); four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Grayson, Rilie and Addy; one sister, Brenda Price of Burlington Junction, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Darrell Perry; and brother-in-law, Kenneth L. Price.
