
The Sedalia Police Department arrested two subjects after executing a search warrant on December 21, 2022.
The department received a report of someone stealing packages off of a front porch on November 18. An investigation revealed that suspects stole packages from other residents as well.
Investigators from the Latent Unit and Crime Resolution Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Sedalia. The search discovered several packages still in the original boxes and labels, as well as drug paraphernalia and gun accessories including magazines and ammunition.
Police also encountered a dog, which had previously been declared to be vicious and had to be banned from city limits. The dog was turned over to Animal Services.
Authorities arrested two subjects. Per KMMO policy, the names of the subjects will not be revealed until formal charges are filed.
