State Fair Community College’s (SFCC) The Learning Force will be offering Six Sigma Black Belt examination preparation training in live Zoom sessions from 3:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting February 23, 2023, and ending April 13, 2023. The deadline to enroll is January 24, 2023.

The training is recommended for certified Green Belt professionals and those who are responsible for leading projects and communicating process improvement with employees of all levels. Six Sigma Black Belt certification indicates a mastery of Six Sigma tools, techniques, data analysis and skills for successfully leading project teams.

Participants will learn all the core competencies of Certified Six Sigma Black Belt such as the aspects of the define, measure, analyze, improve and control model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. In addition to technical skills, participants will learn master leadership, communication, business acumen and project management skills that can result in a successful long-term career path.

In addition to completing the coursework and a real-life company project that could result in significant savings for participants’ companies, an 80 percent class attendance is required to obtain the training certificate. The cost of the training is $5,500 per person.
