
Mildred J. Parker, 82, of Marshall, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Born January 7, 1940, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Tom Stufflebeam and Lena Schick Stufflebeam. Mildred lived her entire life in Marshall and was a 1959 graduate of Marshall High School. On September 9, 1963, she married Joseph F. “Bud” Parker who preceded her in death on December 24, 2019. Mildred was a homemaker and enjoyed working puzzles and watching game shows.
Survivors include six children: John Tobin and Katie Self of Independence, MO, William Foster Jr. of North Kansas City, MO, Randy J. Parker (Diane) of rural Marshall and Jody Friend (David Butts) and Ronnie E. Parker (Dawn) of Marshall; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Stufflebeam of Marshall; a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Stufflebeam of Marshall; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a grandson, Davey Butts; and one brother, Bobby Stufflebeam.
