A Nelson man was moderately injured in a two-vehicle accident in Pettis County on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Aja Biles of Sedalia, failed to stop for a red light and struck a vehicle driven by 77-year-old Randy Reinhart as it crossed the intersection.

Reinhart was treated for moderate injuries at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Biles was not injured.

The accident occurred at 11:07 a.m. on Highway 65 at Highway HH in Pettis County.
