The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved several appointments to the Building Code Board of Appeals and the Industrial Development Authority during its meeting on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Higginsville Mayor Donald Knehans appointed Jeff Gash, Robert Nolte, and Larry Meinershagen to the Building Code Board of Appeals. Knehans also appointed Norman Lucas, Bill Meyer, and Zach Fisher to the Industrial Development Authority. The board of aldermen approved all the appointments.

In other news, the board candidates for the April Municipal Election have been announced. Scott Rhoad is on the ballot in Ward 1, Doug Booker in Ward 2, and Stephen Vetter II and Joshua Green are running in Ward 3. The election is scheduled for April 4, 2023.
