Daniel “John” Erickson, 69, of Marshall, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Warsaw, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice. Born September 23, 1953, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Otto Erickson and Alpha Stark Erickson. He was a 1973 graduate of Malta Bend High School.  On November 6, 1976, in Marshall, he married Anita Donnell who survives of the home. John owned and operated Outback Archery of Marshall and managed Lakeview Home Community. His passion was hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall and Marshall Bow Hunter’s Club.

Survivors include his wife, Anita; two children, Jacob Erickson (Becky) of Lindale, TX and Rachel Wilson (Zachary) of Miami, MO; three grandchildren, Raylee Wilson, Joshua Erickson and David Erickson; one brother, Billy Erickson (Marlene) of Marshall; three sisters, Sharon Henderson and Brenda Corf (Richard) of Marshall, and Melody Long of Malta Bend; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Baker.
