
Marie Ann Bingaman, 80, of Blue Springs, formerly of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Price, Ian Mathewson, Aiden Mathewson, Donovan Blankenship, Kent Rosenquist and Glen Glidewell. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
Born March 26, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Colin William and Marie Renee (Ghio) Mathieson. On January 9, 1981, she married Vernon H. Bingaman, who preceded her in death on July 28, 2011.
Surviving are her daughter, Margo Mathewson (Chris) of Lee’s Summit; her step-children, Becky Munson (Tom), Debbie Bolin (Mike) all of Sedalia, and Scott Bingaman (Sandy) of Gravois Mills; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Teddy Jo Price.
Marie attended elementary school at Scared Heart in Sedalia and was a graduate of Villa Duchesne High School in St. Louis and Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. She was a member of the Sedalia Country Club and D.A.R. Marie was a long-time member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Sedalia. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf and Mahjong.
