The Steamboat Arabia museum was brought up during the meeting of the Develop Saline County Advisory Board after it was announced that the steamboat would not be going to St. Charles.

It was recently announced that the plans to move the steamboat to St. Charles had failed.

Several questions were brought up about whether public tax dollars would be used to bring the steamboat to the junction. There were also questions regarding the information in feasiblilty study done at the junction. Greg Swift said that negotiations are moving forward, but there isn’t any other update available.
