The Marshall Police Department (MPD) received information from Saline County E-911 at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023, that numerous citizens had reported multiple gunshots fired in the area of East Arrow Street and South Lincoln Avenue.

MPD Officers and a Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the area. E-911 provided officers with vehicle information and stated that it was on East Lacy Street.

Officers located the vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away and officers followed and located the vehicle parked on the street with the doors open. A handgun was recovered along with ammunition and spent casings.

Officers observed subjects running from the vehicle into a wooded area and gave chase on foot. 22-year-old Morocco Natividad, of Marshall, was located and arrested.

Natividad has been charged with felonies for unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only.
