The Boonville City Council accepted bills accepting Greenside Drive into the City of Boonville and the transfer of ownership of Barracks A and D to the Boonville Community Development Corporation during a recent meeting.

Greenside Drive, which was built by a developer will be accepted into the Fox Hollow Subdivision and the city will be taking it over for maintenance purposes. Barracks A and D at the former Kemper Military School will be transferred to the Boonville Community Development Corporation to secure grant funding to clear asbestos. The city is not eligible for the grant program though the corporation is eligible because it is a non-profit.

In other news from the meeting, City Administrator Kate Fjell stated that no action was taken on a bill to accept the sewer and water infrastructure for phase one of the Fox Hollow Development. The council plans to vote on the bill at the next meeting on Monday, February 6, 2023.
