The Sedalia City Council authorized an amendment to a professional services agreement between the city and Hoefer Welker, LLC, during its most recent meeting.

City Administrator Kelvin Shaw said the city is having the study done to help design a new fire station. The council realized the city would need to build two new fire stations instead of one.

The council authorized the amendment to the professional services agreement. The survey fees increased from $12,300 to $23,500.

In other news from the meeting, the council approved the resignations of John Kehde from the Planning and Zoning Commission and from the Housing Authority Board of Directors. Michelle Bassett also resigned from the Central Business and Cultural District Board of Directors. The council approved the appointments of Garry Holstein to the Central Business and Cultural District Board of Directors, and Mike Privitt to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
