
The West-Central Missouri Music Educators District recently featured performances of the All-District Bands at the University of Central Missouri in Hendricks Hall and the All-District Orchestra at State Fair Community College in the Stauffacher Center. The West-Central District consists of 70 schools in the area.
Several students from Marshall High School were selected and featured in both performances, totaling 10 with the All-District Bands and 14 with the All-District Orchestra. There were also 5 students selected for both groups.
Students with the All-District Bands included: Rebecca Gonzalez, flute; Jaedyn Borja, clarinet; Hadley Guthrey, trumpet; Reyonna Franklin, flute; Kylie Dickinson, clarinet; Aidyn Wilcoxson. oboe; Eliza Papreck, flute; Trevan Jolliff, trombone; Khody Banty, tuba and Charlie Guthrey, tuba.
Students performing with the All-District Orchestra included: Peyton Marshall, cello; Jasmine Salmeron, violin; Chantel Richardson, cello; Bryan Orozco, violin; Colleen Allen; violin; Katarina Simic, viola; Hadley Guthrey. violin; Alli McClinton, cello; Aidyn Wilcoxson. cello; Sherlyn Solano, cello; Eliza Papreck, violin; Lauren Riley, violin; Charles Guthrey, string bass and Khody Banty, string bass.
