The Carrollton Town Council approved an ordinance for the purchase of bleachers at Finlayson Field during a recent meeting. BSN Sports of Dallas, Texas submitted the bid that was approved. The contract is for five new rows of bleachers on each side along with guardrails. The cost of the project is $23,946.96.

In other news from the meeting, the City of Carrollton will be taking over maintenance on Self Lane. Self Lane currently has utilities on both sides and the city has decided not to widen it.
