Several Smith-Cotton Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students are headed to state competition after competing in district competition at the University of Central Missouri recently.

The state qualifiers and their placings at district competition include:

-Jacob Muin, first in Computer Problem Solving, second in Network Infrastructure and third in Cyber Security;
-Jennifer Bowman, second in Client Service and fifth in Introduction to FBLA;
-Sally Davis, second in Public Speaking;
-Morgan Withers, second in Political Science;
-Morgan Webb, third in Organizational Leadership and fifth in Accounting 2;
-Jacelyn Lancaster, third in Health Care Administration;
-Citalli Nava, fifth in Introduction to Financial Math;
-Jeffthan Glaster, fifth in Health Care Administration.

FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business and business-related fields through relevant career preparation and leadership experience.

The FBLA State Leadership Conference will be held in Springfield April 16-18.
