Traffic in Lafayette County will be shifted up and over the Interstate 70 ramps at Route T beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, February 20, until 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 22.

The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close one lane of I-70 both eastbound and westbound at Route T. This modification is a part of a bridge replacement located just east of Higginsville and west of Concordia at approximately mile marker 52. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
