
President and Chief Executive Officer of Fitzgibbon Hospital Angela Littrell has been elected to a one-year term as President of the Missouri Hospital Association’s (MHA) Central District Council. Littrell’s term began on January 1, 2023.
As District Council President, Littrell’s responsibilities will include presiding over council meetings and guiding discussions on association policies and activities. As one of the six MHA district council presidents, she will direct input from council members on national, state and regional health care policies to the MHA Board of Trustees.
Littrell joined Fitzgibbon Hospital in 2014 and was selected to serve as President and CEO in 2020. Before joining Fitzgibbon, Littrell had served as Director of Physician Services at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, where she had served since 1998. She has more than 30 years of experience in health care leadership.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association in Jefferson City that represents 140 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
