The Boonville City Council approved a bill amending sanitation rates in the City of Boonville during its meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

City Administrator Kate Fjell stated due to an increase from Waste Management that was effective on January 1, 2023, the city had been subsidizing rates to customers in January and February. The increase will be effective on March 1, 2023 and will be 6.55 percent.

The council heard the first reading for approval of a final site plan for 512 Investments, LLC. according to Fjell.

Fjell also stated a first reading was approved for a final plat for the Fox Hollow Subdivision Phase 1.

Final passage of the bills that were given a first reading would need to be made at the next meeting.
