The Carrollton Town Council considered an ordinance to enter into a contract to repair the sewers at Ely Street during its meeting on Tuesday, February 21.

City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell said the town is entering into a contract with Smico Contracting Group LLC. for the repairs.

The council approved the ordinance authorizing the town of Carrollton to enter into a contract with Smico Contracting Group LLC. to repair the Ely Street sewer and install a lift station.

In other news, the council agreed to use ARPA funds for the roof at the fire station and Rupe Center. Bell said the council will seek bids for those projects.
