A Harrisonville man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Jacob Rushly traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Rushly was transported by Life flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 5:17 a.m. on Highway 58 in Johnson County.
