
A Marshall man was charged with a felony for stalking after an incident on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
According to a probable cause statement, the Marshall Police Department was contacted by a female victim stating that Christopher Reynolds was allegedly knocking on her door yelling profanities, violating an active Exparte Order of Protection. The victim stated Reynolds is her ex-husband.
A Marshall Police Officer was dispatched to the residence at which time the victim provided a written statement stating that Reynolds had allegedly approached her residence and began yelling profanities directed at a boyfriend. The victim stated Reynolds allegedly knocked on the front door at which time the victim contacted the police. Reynolds left the property while she was in contact with the police.
According to the female victim, Reynolds had recently contacted her via social media and had allegedly made threats toward the boyfriend. The victim’s boyfriend was aware of the threats and stated he would assist in prosecution for the alleged incident.
Authorities served a warrant to Reynolds on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
Reynolds was charged with a felony for first degree stalking. Bond was set at $7,500 cash only with conditions.
Reynolds had an initial arraignment hearing on Friday, February 24, 2023 and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Saline County Circuit Court.
