
A Lexington woman charged with multiple felonies is due in Lafayette County Circuit Court on Monday, March 6, 2023.
According to a probable cause statement, A Missouri State Highway Patrol Officer stopped to assist a stranded motorist on Route O in Lafayette County on October 19, 2022. While speaking with the driver, identified as Sarah Saheb, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Saheb admitted to having a “roach” in the front passenger seat and denied having a medical license.
During a search of the vehicle the officer found a glass pipe containing a white crystal substance and a small container of marijuana in the center console. The officer also located a syringe containing a brown liquid, glass vial containing a clear liquid, a container with THC wax and Narcan.
According to court documents, Saheb was charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and escape or attempted escape from custody while under felony arrest as well as two misdemeanors.
Saheb entered a plea of not guilty on February 21, 2023. A case review is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
