A Marshall woman was charged with several felonies after a pursuit in Saline County on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

According to a report from Saline County Sheriff Cindi Mullins, deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle with only one headlight and no taillights in the area of North 41 Highway and NN highway. The vehicle fled 43 miles attempting to evade law enforcement. The vehicle entered Nelson where the engine stalled.

The driver identified as Amie Calder, has outstanding warrants in Saline, Ray, Pettis and Jackson counties.

According to court documents, Calder was charged with felonies for tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and driving while revoked or suspended.

No bond has been set.

Calder was arraigned on Thursday, March 2, 2023 and has a preliminary hearing scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Saline County Circuit Court.
