State Fair Community College (SFCC) has selected Christopher Guffey to be the Head Women’s Golf Coach. Guffey has 20 years of experience as a golf instructor and coach.

Guffey has been Smith-Cotton girls’ golf coach since 2014 and boys’ golf coach since 2018. During that time he coached 11 state qualifiers for the girl’s team and four for the boys’ team. The Smith-Cotton boys’ team placed fifth in Missouri Class 3 in 2021 and the team was selected Athletic Program of the Year. Guffey also served on the Missouri State High School Activities Association Golf Advisory Board from 2014 to 2021.

Guffey earned a bachelor’s in psychology and biblical studies from Southwest Baptist University and holds a Master of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.
