Mayor Dewey Hendrix gave an update on planned street closures over the Kansas City Southern Railroad during the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Mayor Hendrix stated that three of the seven streets will be closed with the other four getting upgrades.

According to Mayor Hendrix more public hearings will be held involving the Missouri Department of Transportation and the Kansas City Southern Railroad. The upgrades will be at no cost to the city.
