The Carrollton Town Council approved an ordinance to enter into a contract with Heiman Fire Equipment to purchase a Rosenbauer pumper, complete with Freightliner Chassis during its meeting on Monday, March 6, 2023.

City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell stated the truck would not be available for use until 2025 or 2026.

Bell stated that the city could now move forward with any contracts that would need to be signed.

In other news from the meeting, the council approved farm ground lease bids for five city owned properties.
