A road in Pettis County will be closed for culvert replacement until Thursday, March 9.

According to the Pettis County Road and Bridge Department, Smelser Road will be closed to all through traffic from March 8 through March 9 for the work.

The culvert is located approximately 1.5 miles west of Highway 65. The work is expected to be completed before 3 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting.
