The Sedalia Fire Department was dispatched to a fire on the 2410 block of West Main Street on Wednesday, March 8.

The department was dispatched to the scene at 10:58 a.m. Main street was temporarily closed for about 10 minutes while the department was getting the situation under control.

The building reportedly suffered minimal damage. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
