Russell Albert Tieman, 71, of Concordia, MO, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.

The family held a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Good Shepherd Care Community Chapel in Concordia, with Pastor Bernard Ross officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Alma. Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Care Community in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Born February 9, 1952, in Alma, MO, he was the son of the late Albert J. Tieman and Alvina Meyer Tieman. He lived most of his life in Alma where he was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  On August 18, 1984, he married Nancy Hamann at Richmond Christian Church in Richmond, MO. Nancy preceded him in death on July 16, 2007.

Survivors include two sisters, Lavonne Krause and Dorothy (Donald) Rolf; two nieces, Cheryl (Randy) Schlager and Michele (Scott) Keepes; one nephew, Craig (Tracey) Rolf; one great-nephew, Jared (Jourdan) Nichols; a number of cousins; and three great-great-nieces.

In addition to his parents and wife, Russell was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Ralph Krause.
