The Saline County Commission gave an update on the lawsuit filed against the commission and county collector during its meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Northern Commissioner Stephanie Gooden read a statement from the commission.

Saline County Assessor Jessica Goodman filed an appeal with the Western Missouri Court of Appeals on Friday, March 10, 2023.

In other news from the meeting, Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton stated the county is needing more poll workers for the April 2023 election. Burton stated approximately ten seats are currently open.
