The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work in Carroll and Chariton County for the week of March 20-26.

In Carroll County:
-Bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled on U.S. 24 through June. One is on South Route 24 over U.S. 65. The other is on the northbound and southbound U.S. Route 24/65 bridges over Old U.S. Highway 24/Outer Road 24 and the BNSF railroad, located just south of the Benton Street Bridge.
-Route E is closed for a bridge replacement project at the Lost Creek Bridge, approximately 1 mile east of Route OO, through April 2023.
-A bridge replacement project is scheduled on Route 139 on the Big Creek, Big Creek Drain Ditch and Big Creek Overflow bridges on March 21.
-A bridge replacement project is scheduled on M at the Big and Wolf Creek bridges on March 22.
-A bridge replacement project is scheduled on Route B at the Camp Creek Bridge on March 23.
-A bridge replacement project is scheduled on Route J at the Mound Creek Bridge on March 23.

In Chariton County:
-Pothole patching is scheduled on Route Y from U.S. 24 to Route M from March 20-24.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
