The Carrollton Town Council approved an ordinance to enter into a contract to repair the roofs on the Rupe Center and fire station during its meeting on Monday, March 20,2023.

The contract will be with Advanced Roofing Technologies of Carrollton.

City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell stated the cost of the repairs would be approximately $60,000.

In other news from the meeting, the council accepted a bid for the lease of city owned pasture ground.

The bid for the pasture is $2,340.
