The Sedalia City Council approved a bid for police and fire department vehicles during its meeting on Monday, March 20, 2023.

City Administrator Kelvin Shaw stated the city typically buys two or three vehicle new every year but has not been able to over the last three years due to availability.

The city will be purchasing four police vehicles and one vehicle for the fire department inspectors at a total cost of $209,866.
