A Sedalia man has been charged with three drug-related felonies after a traffic stop conducted by the Sedalia Police Department on March 21, 2023.

According to the department, an officer conducted the traffic stop after a vehicle driven by Zachary Fisher failed to use a turn signal when changing lanes in Sedalia. The officer noted that Fisher’s pupils were constricted and his speech was slurred.

The officer discovered that Fisher’s license was suspended. The officer searched Fisher’s vehicle, and discovered baggies containing fentanyl and methamphetamine. The officer also searched Fisher’s phone, and found evidence that Fisher was allegedly distributing drugs.

Fisher’s criminal history shows five prior arrests for drug related offenses. He is also in probation for prior drug charges.

Court documents say Fisher is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.

No court date has been set at this time.
