
Governor Mike Parson announced that the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has awarded more than $94 million through the Community Revitalization Grant Program for 70 projects across the state. Several of the projects included in the program are in Carroll and Pettis County.
The program, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and part of Governor Parson’s Fiscal Year 2023 budget plan, is focused on investing in communities of all sizes to support local priorities, encourage economic recovery, and build resilience for the future.
The city of Sedalia was awarded $767,760 for its neighborhood revitalization project. The Grand River Area YMCA in Carroll County was awarded $2,085,385 for a recreational facility. The department awarded $94,157,244 to statewide projects.
