The Saline County Career Center (SCCC) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter has been awarded $500 from the Mid-Day Optimist Club. The funds are designated to the SCCC FBLA Star Sponsorship program which supports state qualifying FBLA members to attend the State Leadership Conference.

Ten members of the SCCC FBLA Chapter have qualified for the conference which will be in Springfield April 16-18, 2023. At the state conference students will be competing for the chance to qualify for the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in June. To qualify for the State Leadership Conference, members had to study, practice and place in the the top of their event categories. Students have been seeking sponsorships to cover the cost for each member to attend which is $175 including registration fees and lodging.
