A road in Pettis County is scheduled to be temporary closed to finish up a culvert replacement project.

According to the Pettis County Road and Bridge Department, Smelser Road will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, March 28 through Monday, April 3. The culvert was recently replaced and now that the rock has settled, the department will be pouring concrete to smooth the surface out. The culvert is located approximately 1.5 miles west of Hwy 65.
