The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a memorandum of understanding with the Odessa School District for a school resource officer during its meeting on Monday, March 27, 2023.

According to City Administrator Shawna Davis the memorandum is for a non-grant funded resource officer.

In other news from the meeting, the board approved an application from the Odessa Meat Company to sell packaged meat at Railroad Park every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning April 1, 2023.
