A Sedalia man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Pettis County on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 30-year-old Jonathan Hernandez failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the roadway striking a ditch and a telephone pole. The vehicle overturned coming to rest on its top.

Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pettis County Deputy Coroner.

The accident occurred at 8:59 a.m. on Cedar Drive in Pettis County.
