The Pettis County Commission issued a proclamation for the month of April.

The commission issued the proclamation to recognize April 2023 as ‘Sexual Assault Awareness Month.’

The county says its goals are to stand in solidarity with Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA) and all survivors of sexual assault, as they work to raise awareness and prevent sexual violence in the community.
