An Odessa man was seriously injured in a collision with a farm implement on Monday, April 3, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the collision occurred when a motorcycle ridden by Austin O’Brien attempted to overtake several vehicles and struck a farm implement in the northbound lane.

O’Brien was transported by Life flight to Research Medical Center Center with serious injuries.

The collision occurred at 2:20 p.m. on Highway 131 at Steep Hill Drive in Lafayette County.
