The Concordia Board of Aldermen accepted a bid for the rental of crop ground during its meeting on Monday, April 3.

The board began accepting bids for a six-year cash rental of approximately 35 acres of crop ground adjacent to the North Sewerage Treatment Lagoon in February. Bids were due on March 29. City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board accepted the bid from Bradley Meineka.

The bid is a six year award at the cost of $185 per acre.
