The Saline County Career Center (SCCC) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter has been awarded $350 from Tyson Foods, Inc. in Concordia, Mo. The funds are designated to the SCCC FBLA Star Sponsorship program which supports state qualifying FBLA members to attend the State Leadership Conference.

Ten members of the SCCC FBLA Chapter have qualified to the State Leadership Conference in Springfield, MO held April 16 – 18, 2023. At the conference, students will be competing for the chance to qualify for the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA in June. To qualify for the state leadership conference, the members had to study, practice and place in the top of their event categories. Students have been seeking sponsorships to cover the cost for each member to attend which is $175 and this includes registration fees and lodging.
