
The Missouri River Bird Observatory is hosting the Young Explorers’ Camp in Arrow Rock for children ages 8-11 years old.
The nature day camp offers two sessions; the first session will be June 5-9, the second session will be June 19-23. Campers will meet at the Lawless House in Arrow Rock at 8:30 am and then the adventure ends for the day at 4:00 pm.
During the day campers will get to enjoy fishing, mushroom hunting, outdoor cooking, and birding among other outdoor adventures exploring the cultural and natural resources. Snacks, lunch, and an exploration kit is included with the registration fee of $100 per week. Scholarships are available and transportation can be provided for residents in Marshall through the OATS transit.
