A Kansas City man was seriously injured in a scooter accident in Lafayette County on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a scooter ridden by 79-year-old Bobby Bartlett traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment and overturned. Bartlett was ejected from the scooter.
Bartlett was transported by Life flight to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Benton Lane at Highway O in Lafayette County.
